Last year we sponsored a Cayman Aggressor trip that allowed us to dive on the big island, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. This was the first time that I had actually dived in Little Cayman and quite frankly, the place blew me away.

The island is located about 80 miles northeast of Grand Cayman and is considered by many to be one of the best dives in the Caribbean. Bloody Bay Wall has been said to be one of the top five dive sites in the world and our experience there will not argue that. Our group will be based at the Little Cayman Beach Resort - an intimate, oceanfront resort with only 40 rooms and boasts world-class diving only minutes away fomr the dock. We have reserved 10 pool-side rooms (dbl occupancy) and have 17 dive opportunities planned to include six 2-tank morning dives and five afternoon 1-tank dives. The location itself promotes a casual lifestyle with a relaxed atmosphere, great diving, and dining on delicious Caribbean-inspired meals in their dining room or on our screened porch if you want to feel the breeze on your face.

The diving in Little Cayman is really special and the marine life abundant. I found it really interesting that the fish seemed extremely comfortbale with divers and shyness was not on their agenda. My underwater photograhy was often interupted by curious groupers that came up requesting a scratch on their chin or a nurse shark that wanted help with the focal length of my macro lens. We invite you to join us in this laid back and intimate environment where everybody will know your name above and below.
