Why: ~ to snorkel and experience first hand the majestic West Indian Manatee and to explore the amazing clear waters of the spring fed Rainbow River. This weekend away from home is one of our favorite events and we only sponsor it every two years. A favorite for families with kids.

Where: ~ We will again be staying at the Best Western Crystal River Resort as part of the full package and offering double occupancy accomodations. Parents are welcome to allow children under 14 to stay in their rooms at no additional charge. Those children would then only need to register for the Accomodations Only package.

How: ~ The Crystal River sanctuary has become very popular over the years and with that comes additional conservation and environmental concerns. As a result, this year we have opted to charter the morning excursion using the dive shop's staff who will pilot the boats for us. Those choosing to go out again in the afternoon of Saturday will pilot their own smaller boats.

Golf Package: ~ Available at the Plantation Golf Resort Seasonal green fees will apply.

Biking Option: ~ We are scheduling a Saturday afternoon bike ride for those that are interested through the Withlacoochee State Trail ~ a 47 paved mile long trail that spans 3 counties. It runs the entire length of Citrus County. If you are a biker and own a road bike then we hope that you will consider this afternoon option. Contact us for more details.
